Senior Property Underwriter, Surrey/Hants

This is a chance to work in a technical underwriting role managing referral work of large cases as well as attending external broker meetings. Following this Global Insurer’s success within the property investors market, an exciting opportunity now exists for a solid Underwriter to provide underwriting expertise. You will be involved with implementing company underwriting policy by working closely with the underwriting teams, brokers and customers to support delivery of business plans. You will also drive change initiatives and ensure effective governance and compliance to maintain underwriting excellence of the highest calibre. To be considered you will need to have gained strong previous experience within a commercial underwriting capacity with good Property line of business experience – preferably with an understanding of the property investors/owners market place. Together with good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a varied workload, you will ideally hold the ACii qualification or be working towards this level.
