Two openings have been generated through growth, at this well respected, national IFA firm. Ideal for established Paraplanners or IFA's looking to take on a more technical, 9-5 type role.
The Company: Our client is a leading firm of Advisers for individuals and businesses and have offices around the UK. All Consultants are highly skilled, highly qualified individuals and therefore the support network behind them, including Paraplanners, is equally professional, so development within the role is very much encouraged.
The Role: You will form part of a team of 16 and help support 3 specific Advisers. Most of their business will be private client based with a bias towards pensions, but will cover most product lines. You will:
* Assist Advisers in dealing with new business opportunities from new and existing clients.
* Assist Advisers in reviewing client’s existing portfolios/products.
* Deal with technical queries from Advisers and/or Clients.
* Ensure that the Company’s administrative and new business procedures are adhered to.
* Produce technically competent and compliant client reports using, where available, Company standard reports.
* Produce full, comprehensive and professional reviews.
* You will also get involved in product and fund research.
* There will be occasions where you are required to attend client meetings.
Skills / Experience Required: The ideal candidate will currently be working as Paraplanner or IFA, dealing with HNW clients with a particular specialism within Pensions. You should be at least FPC Qualfied or hold the CFP and be working towards the Diploma. You should be technically competent, and keep up to date on changes to legislation and products. Good communication and IT skills are also required.
Additional Information: Dependent on qualifications and experience, our client can pay a basic to £40,000 although it is likely offers will be in the range of £32,000 to £38,000 given the skills they are looking for.
