Quality Manager

This senior role is an opportunity for those with experience in driving quality standards and a software based background to further themselves within an industry leader and global business.

The Company: A leading supplier of financial services based administration software solutions. This company has clients around the UK, so some travel will be required to those sites as well as our clients other main site in the North-West.

The Role: There are several key responsibilities that this role is based around, and those include:

* Drive forward the culture of quality and constant improvement at all levels
* Work with all staff to ensure that managers, process owners and supervisors develop and maintain their part of the quality management system
* Ensure projects are run to updated Group standards and reviewed weekly/fortnightly
* Maintain clients ISO9001 certification and any additional certifications agreed with the CEO.
*Work with the Group Technical Services Manager and other managers to implement an Information Security Management System (ISMS) compliant with ISO27001
* Monitor and report on how the quality system is performing, including publishing statistics of performance against set measures.
* Ensure that customer requirements and expectations have been accurately identified and that the organisation is meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

The job description includes the following:

* Promote quality achievement and performance improvement across the organisation
* Ensure the Quality Management System is minimal, focussed, correct, and followed
* Manage the internal and external audit program including Management Reviews and follow up audit actions to a timely completion
* Manage the intranet content, liaising with Sales and Marketing and other departments
* Define processes and procedures in conjunction with appropriate staff.
* Bring together staff of different disciplines and drive forward and agree comprehensive quality procedures.
* Identify and implement relevant quality-related training needs
* Take whatever action is necessary to ensure that experienced and reluctant staff change their way of working to incorporate quality methods

Skills / Experience Required: You must be educated to degree level having achieved 2:1 or higher, will have experience within Financial Services and all importantly, have experience in quality management and/or senior management and within this you will have had previous software experience, be it programming, developing etc (a previous job holder hailed from a background as a Cobol Analyst).

Additional Information: The salary is up to £75,000 and a comprehensive benefits package in addition.
