Pensions Coordinator

The Role: Our client is seeking an addition to a team that provide telephone support to customers of their annuity product range. You will be joining an established, yet growing team and will be involved in contributing to the performance the department through the development of exceptional customer relationships, achieved through the delivery of service excellence. This company excel in their customer service, so the successul applicant will have to have a 'putting the customer first' mentality.
You will provide telephone support to customers to aid their selection and purchase of annuities and promptly and efficiently progress their applications to completion. In addition, you will be responsible for processing all administrative tasks relating to 'live' policies.
This role will cover an 8am to 8pm shift (e.g. 8am to 4pm, 9am to 5pm, 10am to 6pm and 12pm to 8pm) so we are looking for candidates who are happy to work shifts. This covers a 35 hour week and the shifts alter weekly, so one week you will work 8am to 4pm, the next week 9am to 5pm and so on.
Skills / Experience Required: You will need to have previous experience of working in financial services and dealing with Pensions (preferably Annuities, but people with experience in other pensions lines can be trained easily). It is essential that you possess excellent organisational and communication skills. You should also have the ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner. Ideally you will have completed the CF1 qualification or be willing to study towards this exam.
Additional Information: The basic salary is £20,000 and the bonus potential is c.£2,000 and this is very achievable.
