Pensions Administrator - DB & DC

Our client, a well respected Pensions Consultancy, is looking to recruit a very strong Final Salary Pensions Administrator to work within their Guildford Officey.

Job Description

The purpose of the role will be to process all basic and intermediate pensions administration and project tasks, updating the administration database, running automated system calculations in addition to carrying out complicated manual calculations and producing letters to draft. In addition the successful applicant will be required to first level check all the work and train and mentor more junior staff within the department.

Person Specification

The successful applicant will have exposure to working on DB and DC schemes, including eavers, retirments, deaths, transfers, monthly processing and investment, benefit statements, renews and pension increases. In addition the applicant will have had exposure of current pensions legislation and framework, especially the regulatory requirementsof the varous pension and finance acts which impact on pensions administration.

Your pensions knowledge will ideally be from third part administration although very strong in house pensions exposure will be considered. You must be able to demonstrate a numercal aptitude evidenced by relevant academic qualifications.
