Our client is one of the UK’s leading and most respected cosmetic surgery and treatment clinics within the private medical sector, established for over 30 years and with clinics nationwide. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Services Director to be based from their Head Office in Manchester. This role will involve considerable travel particularly to the London area.
The role of the Clinical Services Director, involves responsibility for the infrastructure of the organisation, budgets, compliance and maintaining the highest of standards.
Responsibilities include:
• To take a central role in the workings of the Clinical Governance Committee and ensuring that the principles and ethos of the Committee is disseminated and observed throughout the Group.
• To lead the recruitment and selection of surgeons and anaesthetists to ensure that the company has sufficient surgeons’ group geographical and cosmetic surgery skill set coverage across the group meet its planned budget.
• To provide leadership and direction to the Clinic Nurse structure within both hospital and clinic sites across the board.
• To act as the company representative in all dealings with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
Candidates must have the following:
• An understanding of Care Quality Commission regulations
• Hold professional clinical status
• Held a previous senior managerial or director level post
• Experience of working to performance targets and managing budgets
• Clinical Governance and risk management awareness
• Strong leadership, organisational and interpersonal skills
• Well developed influencing skills

• Decisive, confident working style
